SISTEM DIGITALISASI ADMINISTRASI PERPUSTAKAAN BERBASIS WEB DENGAN FRAMEWORK LARAVEL: STUDI KASUS PERPUSTAKAAN HATUKAU NEGERI BATUMERAH

Abstrak

The Hatukau Library in Batumerah Village currently manages data regarding books, members, borrowing and return transactions, and the guestbook manually using logbooks; consequently, data retrieval is slow, and there are risks of data loss, damage, or duplication. This study aims to design and implement a web-based digital administration system for the library using the Laravel framework and a MySQL database. The Waterfall development method was employed, encompassing the stages of requirements analysis, design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. Data were collected through observation and interviews with library staff. The resulting system features modules for authentication, book and category management, member management, borrowing and return transactions, a digital guestbook, a statistical dashboard, and report exports in PDF and Microsoft Excel formats. Black Box Testing confirmed that all primary functions operate according to requirements. The study results demonstrate that the system accelerates data retrieval, mitigates the risks of data duplication and loss, and facilitates the preparation of administrative reports more effectively and efficiently than the

previous manual process.
