CAKE ORDERING INFORMATION SYSTEM AT SARAH'S CAKE SHOP WEB-BASED

Abstract
In a business the ordering system is no less important that must be considered because it can affect the continuity of
the business. At Sarah’s Cake Shop the system used is still manual with customers coming directly to the store to place
an order. The research method used in this study is quantitative descriptive method and the data collection methods
are observation, interviews, and library studies. It is hoped that with the cake ordering information system at Sarah’s
Cake Shop, it can increase sales and can also reach customers who were previously unreachable due to distance
problems. With this information system, customers only need to rely on hand phone and internet connection to place
orders. Thus the Cake Ordering Information System at Sarah’s Cake Shop make it very easy for customers because they
can place orders anywhere and anytime.
